Since ancient times, philosophy has had a complex dynamic about big ideas. At KRC, we are intrigued and puzzled by different philosophical questions and riddles. We explore inquiry through conceptual reflection and clarity through thinking and analysis of perplexing questions, concepts, problems, and arguments. In the narrow sense, we seek to know the meaning of life and to understand how and why people live and act. Our philosophy division research focuses on the principle fields, issues, and problems that are the heart of philosophy and philosophical issues. Our research incorporates the major areas of philosophy, including: epistemology, logic, philosophy of science, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, ethics, social and political philosophy, philosophy of religion, and aesthetics.
